We are pleased to announce that Alfombra Roja is currently working on the development of a program funded by the European Commission’s Erasmus+, which aims to help Ukrainian refugee and women with fragility to start a green and digital business.
The program is called Women on the RISE: Upskilling Ukrainian refugee women through sustainable and digital entrepreneurship learning pathways. W-Rise aim is to promote self-employment and empowerment as a contribution to a more inclusive and sustainable future.
Our consortium is committed to providing these women with the skills and opportunities they need to succeed in the entrepreneurial world. The W-Rise project is driven by a consortium of dedicated organizations, each bringing unique expertise, know-how and passion to support Ukrainian refugee women through sustainable and digital entrepreneurship.
The program will end in May 2026, when a comprehensive training package will be available for our target group to use in their education and training. For us it is a great pleasure to take part in this project, helping in the business dimension of the program for Ukrainian refugee women and those facing adversity. Through education, training, and knowledge we can put great projects into practice!
Last March we already had the first meeting with the members of the consortium in Bologna (Italy), where the foundations of the project have already been laid.
We are currently working on the next phases of the project to give shape to this training.
A presentation event will be held in Stockholm in June 2024, where the project and its objectives will be presented in more detail. We will explain the next steps of the program and look forward to your participation.
Keep an eye on our social media channels as we will be posting more info in the coming weeks; we look forward to seeing you all!
