19 years of Internationalization

Celebración

Alfombra Roja was born 19 years ago by Maribel Álvarez, director of the consultancy. In January 2005 we launched this project, which still did not even have a name, much less a corporate image. Everything started in Stockholm, Sweden, a very interesting market for Spanish companies but with great challenges as the cultural and language differences.

For us, the objective was clear, we wanted to help companies that came to Sweden to enter this competitive and modern market. This is how this internationalization consultancy began. After a while, we started working as well with Norway, Denmark, Finland and Iceland.

Throughout these 19 years, we have had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of sectors: gastronomy and enology, audiovisual production, biotech and pharma, ICTs, construction, mining, oil and gas, the publishing industry, different engineering, decoration, textiles, etc. With all these opportunities, at Alfombra Roja we have been acquiring a unique experience in the market.

Achieved success and latest news

Trade fairs, events, negotiations, reception at the airport, trade missions, meetings, accompaniment of companies, presentation of products, promotion of Spanish regions in Scandinavia … This has been the day-to-day practice of the consultancy since the project began.

At Alfombra Roja we have evolved, and our work has taken us beyond the internationalization of Spanish companies. Currently, we also have clients in European countries such as Italy, France and the United Kingdom, as well as in Latin America or projects with Japan.

The reward for a job well done is the possibility of being able to enjoy it every day. We must thank to our clients and collaborators for these fantastic years. Should we walk together for another 19 years?
